Blogging needs few hours every day and it takes few months to generate traffic and money. You need few hours to learn different aspects of blogging in order to become a successful blogger. Many of my blogger friends work full-time and blog part-time and they are doing very well.

If you are thinking there are lots of things to learn, you can learn it while blogging and understand what’s working and what’s not working in your niche.  Your blog traffic analysis will help you to focus on keywords you are getting traffic and after sometime your blog will get its distinctive identity.

Transcript –

Welcome to podcast this is first time I am doing podcast and  I am going to be doing lots and lots of mistakes and that’s what I am seeking because I want to know what are the mistakes I am doing. It is starting point of my podcasting journey there are going to be lots and lots of podcasts coming soon.

There are lots of things people consider before starting their blog but that’s good thing but because of this fear of failure they don’t start their blog and ultimately they fail. You can’t fail if you don’t start and so I am going to share what’s stopping blogger and how they can overcome it and what are the things that they need to keep in mind while starting their blog.

So without further ado I am going to get to the point number one which is don’t want to invest. Lots of people don’t want to invest money in blogging either they don’t have money or they are sceptical about they will be making from their blog but there are free services like Tumblr, Blogspot and WordPress where we can start free blog. On we can start our blog and monetize the blog with Google Adsense. There are lots of affiliate programs we can promote to earn money without investing. We don’t need to buy domain we don’t need to purchase hosting and if you are good at marketing and if you are passionate about earning money or want to share your knowledge with your audience you can definitely achieve the success which everyone desires in their life. So if you don’t want to invest money start a Blogspot blog or WordPress blog or Tumblr blog

The second factor which stopping blogger is seeking perfection, everyone wants to be perfect in their niche or whatever they are doing but it’s a procrastinating factor. We want to be perfect so we hesitate to do things because of perfection we think this is not perfect our audience won’t like it but there is no such thing like perfection we can’t achieve perfection there are lots of things which are occurring in technology and all the factors, so understand it don’t seek perfection when you are starting your blog. Start with whatever you skill you have whatever resources you have just extract what is possible from those limited resources and time and remember time is going on if you can’t start you can’t succeed in whatever you are doing so just start your journey and don’t seek perfection just do whatever you want to do, you don’t want to be flawless.

The third thing many bloggers think I am not an expert how I can do that but that is one of the factors  which is stopping bloggers you have to be expert in blogging with basic writing and marketing skill you can make your blogging dream reality. You don’t need to be an expert writer and an expert podcaster an expert video editor and an expert marketer and these are the thing which you can learn overtime. You can utilize resources like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter these free resources are available to everyone you can utilize Youtbe and spread your blog. If you are thinking I am not expert you are making a big mistake because no one is expert no one has began as millionaire or problogger overnight they have learnt it from doing it. so don’t think that you are not expert so you can’t start your blog.

And another thing that writing is the only way to start your blog and that is absolutely wrong nowadays anyone can blog you can make video blog, podcasting blog and you don’t have to write things. There are so many blogs which are just transcribing the audios and posting it on their blog and they are doing very well. Nowadays everyone wants to leverage podcast and videos and these are the multimedia resources which are taking ahead words and articles. I am not saying articles will be dead or no one will be reading or no one reads articles but the thing is if you are not good writer you don’t need to worry about it you can start your blog today.  You just need to put on headphone and record whatever you want and transcribe it and make it a post. Your post will need editing but you will get a draft which can be a master piece but you don’t need to be an author or writer to start your blog.

So good bye everyone and keep on reading

  1. Some blog for a hobby but there’s a lot of bloggers making pretty decent money. All it takes is taking out there. Go for it and give it your all. Appreciate you writing this article. It helps those who are considering blogging.

    1. Hey Tannika,

You are right, some people blog for fun and as a hobby but most of the bloggers are blogging for money or starting their blog to earn money from it. There are many people who are hesitating to start their blog and they in dilemma whether they should their start their blog or not and it seems very easy/hard to most of the people because there are lots of misleading articles on the internet.

What’s your next blog post would be?

    1. Hey Kathryn Ma’am,

      Thanks for the comment.

It’s just a raw podcast nothing special about it. I just wanted to do that.

I think, there are lots of great people with lots of great ideas who should blog but they lacks motivation. I think, as a blogger we should be motivated and always trust ourselves and if we believe we can do something then we should not hesitate to do that, it applies for people who want to blog.

I never thought I could have a blog because I don’t have any technical knowledge about writing and coding but I think I have managed my blog and If I can blog then anyone can.

  3. I started with a free blog, as many do, then progressed to my own domain and hosting. I was never worried about writing as I really enjoy it, and I don’t think I considered whether I might have anything of value to say. I guess I just assumed there would be people who would read what I had written. I’m glad I wasn’t held back by perception.

    Enjoy the journey!

    1. Hey Mandy,

I also started from Free blog and I was very hopeful about making money from this blog. Then I realize in order to be successful and customize our blog like we want we need to have WordPress. Free blog platforms have various limitations and that’s why we can collect emails, insert ads the way we want. I am a non-developer that’s why it was hard for me.

I have started my blog and I am enjoying my freedom.

      Thanks 🙂
